Griffins (30-6) Headed to State Finals in Class 1A Baseball

The Father McGivney Griffins will be playing at the Class 1A state baseball tournament on Thursday.  The Class 1A baseball state semifinals are being held at Illinois State University in Normal.  Father McGivney High School is located in Glen Carbon (IL).    

The Griffins take a 30-and-6 record to state and go up against the Newark Norsemen in the state semifinals Thursday at ISU.  Game time - 10 am - on the Big-Z (WBGZ - Alton). 

Father McGivney worked out on a turf field Tuesday afternoon at the O'Fallon Sports Complex in preparation for their games at the state tourney.
